Hariswar Dev Vocational (Junior) Science College

We've been here in Krushnanagarpatna for a bit now. Hariswar Dev Vocational (Junior) Science College is basically where local students come after finishing tenth grade. It is not a huge, fancy place, but we have the labs and classrooms needed for science and vocational subjects. People in Puri know where we are. Dealing with teenagers every day is a lot of work, honestly. Some days are loud, and some are quiet when exams are close. We mostly focus on practical stuff because that is what vocational training is about. You see kids learning things they can actually use for jobs later. The building is simple. We don't have marble floors or anything like that. Just desks, blackboards, and some equipment. The teachers here are mostly from around this area too. We walk to work or take the bus just like the students do. It gets hot in the afternoons, but we manage with fans. It is a decent place for learning. Parents come by to talk about their kids' grades and we just tell it like it is. No fancy reports, just a chat. We try to keep things organized but sometimes the paperwork piles up on the desk. That is just how it goes in a school. We have seen many batches pass through these doors and go off to different towns for work. It is a regular part of life here in this corner of Puri.
