Gosaipur Primary School

Gosaipur Primary School is located right at Naharkanta, which is on that busy Cuttack Bhubaneswar Road. If you are driving fast, you might even miss us. The school is a simple one, sitting there in the middle of a lot of traffic and noise from the main road. We have a small yard where the kids play during their break times. Sometimes the grass gets a bit long if it rains too much in the monsoon season. We don’t have a lot of expensive equipment or a big library. Most of our books are kept in a single cupboard in the corner of the main room. The teachers live nearby and usually walk or take a cycle to get here. We see the same faces every day and the parents often stop by to chat at the gate. It is a very normal, local school. There is a lot of dust from the road, so we are always cleaning the windows and the desks. We try to keep the environment as calm as we can for the little ones who come here to learn their letters and numbers. It is a practical place. We don’t have a website or a big marketing team. We just have our classrooms and the daily schedule. It is just a small primary school serving the families around Naharkanta and the nearby villages. That is what we have been doing for years.
