Discovery Tours

Discovery Tours is located on C T Rd in Puri. This road is one of the main arteries of the town, so we see everything that happens here. Our shop is a simple place where we plan out trips and tours for people who want to see more than just the beach. We’ve been here for several years, and we’ve seen shops come and go, but we’ve managed to stay put. The office is usually filled with the sound of the traffic outside and the occasional person stopping in to ask for directions. We have a few old wooden chairs for guests and a desk that’s seen better days. It doesn't matter much to us as long as we can get the work done. We know the local area very well, from the hidden temples to the best places to see the sunset. Most of our work involves talking to people and figuring out what kind of trip they want. We don't use any high-tech systems, just a notebook and some basic software. It’s an honest way to make a living, and we take pride in knowing the roads as well as we do. The salt air from the ocean usually makes everything a bit sticky, but that’s just part of living in Puri. We open up every morning and wait to see who the day brings in. It’s a good life on C T Road.
