We are set up at PN-32, right across the road from Saraswati Hospital. If you’re driving on the Badasam Bypass Road, you can’t miss us. The company is run by Babu Lal Vishnoi and a group of us who are into organic farming. We don't like using all those harsh chemicals, so we do things the old-fashioned way. It’s a lot more work, honestly. You have to spend more time weeding and checking the leaves for bugs. We meet up at the office near the hospital to talk about which crops are doing well and who needs help with their harvest. It’s not a fancy office. It’s mostly just a place to keep our records and escape the sun for a bit. We don't have a big budget for things like websites or brochures. Most people find us because they want food that hasn't been sprayed with stuff. The bypass road is always loud with trucks and cars, but we’re used to it by now. We don't have a corporate ladder to climb. We’re just farmers trying to do right by the land and the people who eat what we grow. It’s a community thing. Sometimes we have long days and the crops don't do what we want, but we keep at it.
