Chandrama Travels

Chandrama Travels is tucked away in Bayababa Lane, specifically in the Narendrakona area of Puri. It is a bit quieter back here compared to the main beach area, which we actually prefer. We have been running this small travel desk for a few years now. It started out with just one vehicle and slowly grew because we worked hard and didn't try to be something we weren't. The office is basically just a small room with a few chairs and a lot of maps pinned to the wall. We don't go in for all those modern marketing things; we just answer the phone and talk to whoever walks through the door. Usually, it's locals who need a ride to the airport or pilgrims who want to see the sights nearby. Managing the drivers and the schedules is a full-time job that starts early in the morning. Sometimes we are still here late at night making sure everyone got back safe. It’s a family-run thing, so there’s always someone around even if the sign says we are closed. The lane can be narrow, so parking is always a bit of a puzzle we have to solve every morning. We just focus on keeping the cars running well and being fair with everyone who comes to us. It’s a simple business in a nice part of town, and we’re happy to be here doing our own thing.
