Baba Lodge

Baba Lodge is tucked away in Dolamandap Sahi, which is very close to the Jagannath Temple. You can hear the temple bells from here sometimes. It’s an old building, nothing like those big modern hotels you see on the sea beach. We have basic rooms for pilgrims and travelers who just need a place to sleep and keep their bags. Most of our guests are here for the darshan, so they leave early and come back late. We have a small staff who helps with cleaning and checking people in. The lanes around here are narrow, so it can be a bit tricky to find us the first time, but being near the temple is a big plus for most folks. We provide clean sheets and fans in the rooms. It gets quite humid in Puri, so we try to keep things airy. We don't offer fancy meals, but there are plenty of eateries nearby serving good dalma and rice. Sometimes the water pressure is a bit low, but we fix it as soon as someone tells us. It’s a family-run place, so there’s usually one of us around if you need anything. We’ve had families coming back to stay with us for years. It's not a luxury stay, just a simple lodge for people who want to be near the Lord. We do our best to make sure the space is decent for everyone.
