Art & Craft Centre

We are located in Satyasai Nagar in Nimapara. It is a quiet spot, which works out well for us because the kind of art and craft work we do needs some concentration. We have been operating this centre for quite a while now. It is not a big commercial building, just a simple space where we keep our tools and materials. We work with various types of local crafts, and there is usually a project or two drying in the corner. We do not have a lot of staff. It is mostly just us doing the work ourselves every day. The place can get a bit cluttered with clay, paint, and wood scraps, but we know where everything is. We do not have a fancy catalog or a website to show off what we do. If someone wants to see our work, they usually just drop by the shop in Satyasai Nagar. We enjoy the slower pace of life here in Nimapara. Sometimes the weather makes the work difficult, especially when it is too damp for things to set properly, but we manage. We are not looking to become a huge company. We just like making things and helping the locals find something handmade for their homes. It is a humble way to earn a living, and we are happy to keep the traditional crafts going in our own small way.
