Accenture Services Ltd has a spot over in Jahangir Puri, Delhi. Specifically at H 4, N 30, B 213. It’s a busy area, as you might guess. There’s always something going on outside our doors. We’re just a part of the landscape here in India. The building isn’t anything to write home about, but it’s where we spend our hours. We deal with service work, mostly stuck behind screens or on calls for a good chunk of the day. It’s a lot of back and forth, making sure things are moving along. The tea guy comes around a few times a day, which is probably the highlight for some of us. We aren't really into the corporate vibe you might expect from a big name. Down here on the ground, it’s just people working hard and trying to get home on time. The desks are a bit cramped and the air conditioning is sometimes a bit too cold, but we make it work. We have people from all over the neighborhood working here. It’s a real mix of personalities. We don’t have any fancy mission statements hanging on the walls. We just have our lists of things to do. Some days are longer than others. That’s just life in Delhi. We keep our heads down and get the tasks finished. It’s a practical way to run things. We don't need much more than a working computer and a bit of quiet to get through the day's pile of work.
