Sakshi Development & Social Welfare Association

Our office is right here in Vill-Ketar. It is part of the Bhawanathpur police station area. If you ask for Onkar Nath Ram’s son, people will point you the right way. Sakshi Development & Social Welfare Association started because we saw a lot of gaps in how things were being handled in our village. We do not have a lot of fancy equipment or a big staff. It is just a few of us who care about what happens in Ketar. We spend a lot of time talking to the neighbors and seeing what they need. Sometimes it is about the local roads, sometimes it is about health stuff. We try to do what we can with the little we have. It is not always easy, especially when the weather is bad or resources are low. But we keep at it. We are not trying to be famous or anything. We just want the place where we live to be okay. If you come by Nish Nira, you will see we are just regular people. We do not have a big mission statement on the wall. We just have a list of things that need fixing. Some days are harder than others, but that is just life in a village. We have been here for a bit now and we plan on staying. We do not do a lot of advertising. People just know us from the work we put in every day.
