Sahayak Social Welfare Association

Sahayak Social Welfare Association is based out of House Number 0890 in Amrori. Specifically, we are in Ward Number 13. The house belongs to the family of Anil Kumar Yadav. It’s a residential area, so we are right in the middle of a neighborhood. We don't have a separate commercial building; we just use a section of the house for our welfare work. It’s a very grassroots kind of setup. You might hear kids playing outside or the normal sounds of a household while we are trying to work. We spend our time organizing things for the local community and keeping records of who needs what. It’s not a polished operation. We use old notebooks and sometimes we run out of space on the shelves. Most people in Amrori know to come to this house if they want to talk to the association. We don't have office hours like a bank. We are usually around and people just knock when they need something. It’s a very direct way of working with the community. We don't use any complicated software or have big meetings in boardrooms. We just sit around a table and figure things out together. It gets a bit hot in the summer without much cooling, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. We just want to be helpful to our neighbors in Ward 13 and keep things running smoothly.
