You can find us over in Damodarpur, right near the Government Middle School in Khajuria. Being so close to the school means there is always a lot of noise and kids running around, but it keeps the place feeling alive. We are based deep in East Champaran, and we take on various building projects all around Areraj. It started out small with just a few tools and we just kept going from there. Most of our mornings start very early, before it gets too hot to stand outside for long. We are not the type of people to sit in an office all day typing on computers. Usually, someone is out checking on a load of cement or making sure the levels on a new wall are right. Sometimes we run into problems with the ground being too soft or the monsoon rain being too heavy, but that is just life here. We do not have a lot of fancy brochures to hand out. People usually just stop by the site or our place in Khajuria to see how things are progressing. It is a practical way to live and work. We have worked on a lot of different structures around this part of Bihar over the years. It is good to see something actually get built from nothing. We keep the tools ready and the trucks moving. It is not always easy, and we are usually tired by evening, but the work is steady. (257 words)
