Ksrr Foundation

You can find us in Village Bajitpur, which is out in the Madhuban area of East Champaran. The post office is right here too, so mail usually finds us eventually. Ksrr Foundation is a small effort we started right here in the village. We don't have a fancy building or a lot of staff. Most of the time, it is just a couple of us working out of a small space near the main road. East Champaran is a big place, but Bajitpur is where we focus our energy. We spend a lot of time walking around the village and talking to the people who live here. There is always something to be done, whether it is helping a farmer or checking in on the local school. We don't use a lot of complicated language or have big meetings with slides and charts. We just sit down with people and listen. Sometimes we meet under the big tree when the weather is nice. It is a very slow and steady way of doing things. We have been here for a while and the people in the village trust us because we are their neighbors. We don't have much in the way of funding, so we just do what we can with what we have. It is honest work and it keeps us connected to our roots here in Bajitpur. Every day brings something different and we just take it as it comes. It stays interesting.
