Hoperay Social Development Foundation

We are based out of Ward No-1 in Rajepur village, which is part of the Mehsi block in Motihari. Hoperay Social Development Foundation is basically just a group of us locals trying to do some good around Purbi Champaran. It is a rural area, so things move a bit slower here than they do in the big cities. We set this up because we saw a lot of stuff that needed attending to in the village and nobody else was doing it. Most of our days are spent talking to neighbors and seeing who needs help with what. It is not a corporate thing at all. We just use whatever small resources we have to help out. Sometimes we are working in the fields or helping with local projects. Being in Rajepur, everyone knows each other, so the foundation is just another way for us to stay connected. We do not have any flashy brochures or expensive equipment. Just a small space where we meet up and decide what the next step is for the community. It can be tiring, and we do not always have the right answers, but we show up every morning. Purbi Champaran has its challenges, but we like living here and want to see things get a bit better for everyone. It is mostly just practical work, nothing fancy. We try to keep things honest and straightforward without making any big promises we cannot keep.
