Hoonar Social Foundation

Our foundation is located in Purani village, right in the Purani Tola area of the Puraini block. It’s a very local operation for the Hoonar Social Foundation. Most of us here have lived in this block all our lives. The office is really just a simple room in a building that’s been around for years. We don’t have a big sign outside or anything fancy. People in the village know where we are because they see us around every day. It’s a rural area, so life moves at its own pace. We spend a lot of time out in the fields or visiting different parts of the block to see what’s going on. When we are in the office, we are usually catching up on paperwork or planning for the next week. It’s not always easy keeping everything organized with a small team, but we manage. We use old wooden desks and simple chairs. There’s a lot of dust from the roads, so we spend a fair bit of time cleaning up. We don't have any corporate training or anything like that. We just learned as we went along. It’s a very practical way to run things. We focus on what’s right in front of us. Being based in Purani means we are close to the people we serve. It’s a straightforward life, and we like it that way. No big talk, just regular work every single day to keep things moving forward.
