Branzo India Foundation

Branzo India Foundation is based in Dhumnagar, specifically in the Chauria Tola area. We work out of Ramashray Prasad’s place. It’s a small, quiet village setting where everyone knows everyone else’s business. We started this foundation because we felt that our local area was being overlooked. There’s a lot of potential here, but people sometimes need a little nudge or some support to get things moving. We aren’t some big city organization with a huge budget. We’re just a group of locals who want to see our community do better. We spend our time talking to farmers and families about what they need. Sometimes it’s help with paperwork, other times it’s just figuring out how to get better resources for the village. It’s not very formal. We don't have meetings with PowerPoint presentations. We just sit together and talk. Sometimes the work is slow, and it can be frustrating when things don’t happen as fast as we’d like. But we stay at it because this is our home. Dhumnagar is where we live and work, so we have a stake in everything that happens here. We don’t have any fancy mission statements or slogans. We just try to be honest and help out our neighbors whenever we can. It’s simple work, but it’s important to us and the people in Chauria Tola. Life here is good, we just want it to be a bit easier.
