Sri Kamala Stores

We started Sri Kamala Stores a good while ago now. You can find us right in the Super Market area of Kumarpur. We are pretty easy to spot because we are quite close to the Contai Cooperative Bank on Digha Road. It gets busy around here, especially in the mornings when everyone is out doing their shopping. Most people from around East Midnapore know this spot. We keep things simple and just stock the everyday items people need for their homes. Our shelves are usually full of different bits and pieces. It’s a family-run kind of thing, so you’ll see the same faces if you come in often. We don't have any big corporate rules or anything. We just open up the shutters early, sweep the floor, and wait for the regulars to drop by for their groceries. Sometimes the weather makes things a bit slow, but we are here most days. It’s not a fancy place, just a regular shop where we know many of our customers by name. If you are heading down Digha Road, you'll see us there. People stop by on their way back from work mostly. We try to keep what people ask for. It's just how we do things. Not much has changed over the years, and we like it that way. Just a local store doing its part in the market. We take things as they come and try to be helpful to anyone who walks in.
