You can find us at D-123 in the Durgachak area of Haldia. Being near the port means there is always a lot of activity and heavy transport moving through Midnapur. Our work is mostly focused on construction projects, specifically bridges and roofs, as the name suggests. The office is a practical space, set up to manage the logistics of large-scale building sites. It’s often humid here because of the water, and you can smell the salt in the air sometimes. We have a crew that spends more time out on the field than in the office. The building we are in isn't anything special to look at, just a sturdy place to keep our records and hold meetings. We deal with a lot of steel and heavy materials, so there is always a layer of dust on everything. Our days are filled with checking schedules and making sure the supplies are getting to the sites on time. We don't have any marketing experts or polished brochures. Most of our work comes from being established in the area for a long time. People in Haldia know who we are. We just do the work, pay our taxes, and try to keep things running smoothly. It’s a busy, gritty kind of job, but it’s what we know. We aren't looking to change the world, just to build the things people need to get across rivers or keep the rain off their heads.
