Gfc Hospital

Our place, Gfc Hospital, is located in Kushpataghatal in Midnapur West. It’s a bit of a distance from the main city, so we serve the local people out here. The building is an older one, and it has that distinct smell of cleaning supplies and old paper. We have some wards for people who need to stay for a few days and a small area for minor surgeries. It’s not a high-tech facility, but we have the basics covered. The staff here is mostly local, and they speak the language of the people coming in, which helps a lot. We don’t have a fancy cafeteria, so people usually bring their own food or go to the small shops nearby. The road outside can get muddy during the monsoon season, making it a bit tricky to get in and out. We try to keep the patient rooms as comfortable as possible with the fans we have. The doctors come in from the town, so their timing can vary depending on the traffic or the weather. We do a lot of primary care and help people manage their long-term health issues. It’s just a plain, honest hospital for the community in Midnapur West. We don't have any glossy brochures. People just come here because we’ve been here for years and they know where to find us.
