G. K. Food Product Pvt. Ltd.

Our place, G. K. Food Product Pvt. Ltd., is tucked away in Shyamganj village. It’s part of the Purba Dakshin Moyna area, right in the Moyna police station jurisdiction in Purba Medinipur. It’s a quiet spot, mostly fields around us, which makes it a nice place to work away from the noise of the bigger towns. We started out with just a few machines and a couple of people from the village. The roads out here aren't always the best, especially when it rains hard during the monsoon, but we manage to get our products out on time most days. Mostly we make food items that people use every day in their kitchens. It’s not a high-tech factory with robots; it’s mostly just us doing the manual work and making sure everything is packed right. Sometimes the electricity goes out for an hour or two, so we just take a break and sit outside until it comes back on. That’s just how it is in Shyamganj. We know everyone in the neighborhood, and a lot of our workers just walk over from their houses nearby. It feels more like a big family than a corporation. We don't have a marketing team or a fancy website. We just make the food, put it in the bags, and send it to the local markets. It’s honest work, and it keeps the village moving. We’ve been here for years and hope to stay for many more. It's a peaceful location for us.
