Dr Krishna Lal Das Clinic

Down here in New Digha, specifically near the Anandadhara post office, is where you'll find Dr. Krishna Lal Das Clinic. It’s a quiet corner for the most part, though things pick up when the tourists are around. But mostly we see the local families who live here year-round. The clinic isn't very large. It’s just a few rooms where we handle the daily visits. Dr. Krishna Lal Das spends most of the morning and evening here. We have a desk that’s always covered in papers and a couple of benches for people to sit on while they wait. It gets a bit humid being so close to the coast, but we’re used to it. We try to keep things organized, but sometimes it feels like there’s never enough space for all the files. It's just a regular neighborhood spot. We don't do anything fancy. Most people just walk over from their houses nearby. We know a lot of the names by heart now. If you're looking for the post office, we're just right there. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to use the lanterns, but we manage. It’s just how things go here in Anandadhara. We've been part of this community for a while and don't plan on changing much. It’s a practical place for people who need a doctor without any fuss.
