We are located in Mohati, which is in the Khejuri area of Purba Medinipur. It’s a quiet part of West Bengal compared to the big cities, but we stay busy with engineering work. Our workshop is where we spend most of our time. We have various tools and machines for cutting and welding metal. It isn't a high-tech lab; it’s a practical workspace with iron shavings on the floor and the smell of hot metal. People from the nearby villages and towns come to us when they need parts repaired or something specific fabricated. We don't have a marketing team or a fancy website. Most of our work comes from people who know us or have heard about what we do from their neighbors. The power goes out sometimes, so we have to plan our work around that. We have a few guys who are really good with their hands and can fix just about any mechanical problem. We take our time to make sure things are done right, even if it means staying late under the tubelights. The area around Mohati is quite green, and you can hear the birds when the machines are turned off for lunch. We usually sit outside in the shade for a bit before getting back to the welding. It is a simple life here. We focus on the metalwork and making sure the items we build are sturdy enough to last a long time.
