Saraswati Papad Enterprise

Our place is located on Barakar Station Road, which stays pretty busy most of the time. We are right in the middle of things here in the Paschim Burdwan district. Saraswati Papad Enterprise is where we spend our days making things. It’s a local operation, nothing too complicated about it. The smell of the ingredients usually fills up the space around the post office and the station area. People around here know where to find us if they need anything. We’ve been at this spot for a bit now and it feels like home. The building isn't brand new or anything, but it works for what we need to do. We usually start early in the morning when the air is still a bit cool. Making papad takes some time and patience, and we just stick to the way we’ve always done it. It’s not a huge factory with machines everywhere, just a regular setup. We deal with the usual stuff like the weather affecting the drying or the noise from the road outside. Most of the people working here are from around the neighborhood. We don’t really do much advertising or anything like that. Word of mouth usually gets the job done. If you’re ever near the Barakar station, you’re probably quite close to where we are. It’s just a small local business trying to keep things moving along every day in our little corner of the world.
