Raseswar Rice Mill Private Limited is located right in Bulchandrapur, which is in the Burdwan area. You can find us near Uma Sankar Dawn’s place. It’s easy to miss if you aren’t looking for it. The roads around here can be a bit bumpy, especially during the rainy season when the mud gets everywhere. We have been handling rice for quite some time now. Burdwan is known for its paddy, so there is always work to be done. The mill itself isn’t anything special to look at, just some big sheds and the sound of the hulling machines running all day long. It gets quite noisy, so talking to each other usually involves a lot of shouting. We have a small group of guys who have been here for years. They know the machines better than anyone. We get the raw paddy from the nearby farmers, and it’s our job to get it ready. Sometimes the machinery breaks down and we have to spend half the day fixing it with whatever tools we have on hand. It’s not a clean job, you’ll leave here with dust on your clothes for sure. We don't have a website or anything like that. People just know where we are. If you’re coming from the main road, just look for the trucks parked outside. We usually finish up by sunset, depending on how much rice is left in the hopper. It's just simple work we do here every day without much fuss.
