Mihijam Clinic

Mihijam Clinic is right on K T Road in the Railpar area of Asansol. It's not a huge place, just a couple of rooms where we see people from all around Bardhaman. The neighborhood is always busy with the trains nearby, so there is usually a lot of noise coming in from the street. We’ve been here long enough that most of the neighbors just wave when they walk past the door. The waiting room gets a bit crowded on rainy days because everyone wants to stay dry while they wait for their turn. We have some old magazines on the table, though I don't think anyone actually reads them anymore. It’s a bit dusty sometimes because of the road work nearby, but we do what we can with a broom every morning. People come from Asansol too, since it’s a quick trip over. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us making sure things run okay. Sometimes the light in the hallway flickers a bit, but we haven't gotten around to fixing it yet. It’s just a normal clinic for normal people who need to see someone about a fever or a cough. Nothing fancy, just a practical spot in Railpar. We open up early and stay until the last person leaves, which is usually later than we plan. It’s just how it goes in this part of town.
