Our business, Maa Ratanti Distributor, has its spot in Guskara, which is part of the West Burdwan district. We have been setting up and running things from this part of the state for a while now. Guskara is a small place, so news travels fast and everyone knows where everyone else is. Our distribution work keeps us on our toes. There is always a truck to load or a list to check off. We don't have a fancy office with air conditioning in every corner, just a solid place to keep our items. Being in West Burdwan gives us a good base to move things around the local area. The pace of life here is a bit slower than the big cities, but the work is just as hard. We wake up early to get ahead of the heat and the traffic. Most of the people working here are from around the neighborhood. We don't really follow those big corporate rules you see in magazines. We just focus on what needs to be delivered today. Sometimes the weather makes things difficult, especially when it rains heavy in the monsoon, but we keep going. It’s a simple business run by people who know the local roads well. If you pass through Guskara, you might see our warehouse area. It's not much to look at, but it’s where all the work happens. We don't make a big show of things, we just do what we are supposed to do.
