Lakashay

Lakashay is situated on the ground floor of a building on Barabani Road in Asansol. We are quite close to the Gafarni Store, so that is usually what we tell people when they are trying to find the place for the first time. The area around here is pretty active with a lot of local shops and people moving about. Our space is simple and functional, without any of the extra stuff you might see in a big city office. We have the basic furniture we need and enough room for everyone to sit down and get to work. Asansol can be a busy place, especially around this part of town, so there is always something going on outside our door. The ground floor location is handy because people can just walk right in from the street. We get a lot of dust from the road, so we are always dusting off the desks and shelves. It is just one of those things you deal with. We have been here for a good while now, and we have gotten to know the other shop owners on Barabani Road. It is a decent neighborhood to work in. We open up around the same time every morning and stay until the work is done. It is not an exciting life, but it is our life, and we are happy to be part of the local community here. Just a plain office for plain people doing their daily jobs.
