Lahoud Engineering

Lahoud Engineering is our small outfit in Burdwan. We are over at Sarada Prosad Banerjee’s place in Nutanpalli. It is near Kalibazar, which is a pretty busy part of town. We do engineering work, though it’s not the kind of thing you see on TV. It’s mostly just us dealing with technical problems and making sure things are built right. The shop isn’t much to look at, just some tools and old desks. We spend a lot of time drawing things out and checking measurements. Sometimes it gets loud outside with the market traffic, but we are used to it by now. Being in West Bengal, the weather can be tough, especially the humidity, but we keep the fans going. People in the neighborhood know where we are. If you walk past Kalibazar, you’ll find us. We aren’t a huge company with hundreds of workers. It’s just a few of us who know our way around a blueprint. We don't have a fancy website or a marketing guy. We just talk to people directly. It’s easier that way. No misunderstandings. We just want to get the job finished and go home to our families. That’s the way it’s always been for us here at Lahoud Engineering. We take things as they come and try to stay honest in what we do. Nothing more, nothing less. It works for us.
