Dict Fashion

Living and working in Kalna means things move at a certain pace. Dict Fashion is just a small part of that. The shop isn't anything too special to look at from the street, but it’s where we spend most of our daylight hours. We spend a lot of time just moving hangers around and making sure the stacks of clothes don’t fall over. Sometimes the dust from the road gets inside, so there is a lot of cleaning to do every morning before anyone even walks in. People from around the neighborhood stop by, some to look at the new arrivals and others just to say hello while they’re out doing their marketing. It’s a bit cramped when we get a shipment in because the boxes take up all the floor space. We don’t have a big team or fancy software to track everything; it’s mostly just notebooks and pens. The lighting is okay, but we could probably use a few more bulbs near the back to see the darker fabrics better. When it rains, the sound on the roof is quite loud, making it hard to hear the radio we keep in the corner. We just try to keep things organized and make sure the sizes are where they belong. It’s a simple way to spend the day here in Kalna, just surrounded by fabric and the usual daily chores of running a local business.
