Isbhu Welfare Association

Isbhu Welfare Association is based out of Chirawak village. We are located at Iftikhar Ahmed’s place. It is near the Gulaothi post office. Being in a village means everyone knows where we are. We do not really have a big sign or a fancy office. We mostly sit around the common area and talk about what the village needs. Welfare work can be a lot of things, from helping someone with a form to fixing something small. We grew up here, so we know the families and the history of the place. It is quiet in Chirawak, which is nice. We spend a lot of our time listening to people. Sometimes we have to travel to Gulaothi for supplies or to mail things out. The roads are okay, but they get dusty in the summer. We are not trying to change the world, just trying to make things a little better for the folks around here. Iftikhar lets us use the space, which is a big help. We do not have regular office hours really. If the door is open, someone is usually there to talk. It is a simple way of doing things, but it seems to suit the village life. We just keep things moving one day at a time. No big plans, just sticking together and helping out where we can. That is pretty much us. We are just local people helping neighbors.
