Our office for Gsmi Private Limited is located in Bardhaman, specifically at Gantar Mri, which is part of the Bon area. It’s quite a distance from the big city vibes of Kolkata. Here in West Bengal 713146, things are much quieter. The office is actually part of a larger property belonging to Shamsumdar, and it feels very local. We don't have neon signs or anything like that. You just walk in and see a few people sitting around tables with their laptops. It gets quite hot in the afternoons, so the windows stay open to catch whatever breeze comes across the fields nearby. We deal with a lot of local stuff and the pace is generally manageable. There’s no big corporate hierarchy here. Everyone just does what needs doing, whether it’s filing papers or answering the one phone we have. Sometimes the power goes out for an hour or two and we just sit outside or work on paper until it comes back. It’s a very practical way of living and working. We know the neighbors and they know us. The road outside isn't always in the best shape, especially after it rains, but we manage to get to work every day regardless. It’s a simple life here. We aren't trying to change the world, just keeping our small business running as best as we can in this little corner of Burdwan.
