Goodwill Tea & Industries

We’ve been running things here at 108- Chandan Nagar for quite some time now. Goodwill Tea & Industries isn't a big operation with glass walls or anything like that. It’s mostly just a warehouse space where we deal with tea batches all day long. The smell of dried leaves is basically stuck in our clothes at this point, but nobody seems to mind it much. Some days the humidity makes the bags heavy and the work slow, but we just keep at it until the sun goes down. We don't really do much advertising because people around here already know where to find us. Usually, it’s just the sound of the loading gate rattling and some old radio playing in the corner while we stack crates. It’s a pretty straightforward life. We check the leaves by hand and make sure everything is labeled right before the local drivers show up. My brother handles most of the paperwork while I stay on the floor to watch the unloading. We’ve seen other shops come and go in Chandan Nagar, but we just stay in our lane. It’s hard work, and my back usually aches by Friday, but that’s just how it goes when you’re dealing with bulk goods. We keep the kettle on for anyone who drops by, though it’s usually just the delivery guys. Nothing fancy, just a regular tea business trying to get through the week.
