Gibson Microcare Foundation

We are located in Kalna, over in the Bankura district. The Gibson Microcare Foundation is actually set up at the home of Fulkali Pandit, who is the wife of Kashinath Pandit. It is a very local setup, right in the middle of our community. We don't have a big glass office in a city. Instead, we work from this house where we can stay connected to the people around us. Bankura is a beautiful place, and being in Kalna feels right for what we are doing. The 713513 area is mostly quiet, which helps us focus on our tasks. Our daily routine involves a lot of talking to neighbors and organizing the small details of our programs. We don't use a lot of technical jargon or have complicated meetings. We usually just sit down with a cup of tea and figure out what needs to happen next. The house is always a bit busy with family and visitors, so it never feels lonely. We have our files stored in some metal cabinets in the corner. It is a simple life and a simple way of running things. We don't feel the need to act like a big corporation. We are just local residents doing our bit. If you come by, you might hear the local birds or the sound of someone cooking nearby. It is an honest, hardworking atmosphere that suits us just fine.
