Fershers

Fershers is located on Mahatab Road, right in the Raj Bati area of Burdwan. If you’re familiar with this part of town, you know it has a lot of history. We’ve set up shop in an older building that has some character, even if the walls could use a fresh coat of paint eventually. We aren't fancy people. We just needed a place to work and this spot on Mahatab Road fit the bill. There’s always people walking past on their way to the market or school. We hear the rickshaws going by all day long. It’s a lively atmosphere. Inside, it’s mostly just us and our equipment. We keep things pretty lean. No big departments or confusing managers. If there's a problem, we just talk to each other and fix it. That's the benefit of being small. We’ve been in Burdwan for a long time, and we don't really see ourselves moving. The tea stall around the corner is where we get our morning start. Most of our customers are locals who know where to find us. We don't spend money on big signs or flyers. We'd rather just put that effort into the work we do. It’s a straightforward way of living. Sometimes the monsoon rain makes the road a bit messy, but we just put on our boots and keep going. That's just life here. We aren't looking to change the world, just to provide for ourselves and do a decent job for the people who come to us.
