You can find us over in Jamalpur, right in East Burdwan. Our spot is near the Jamalpur Police Station, which makes it pretty easy to explain where we are to anyone visiting. We are a small company and we’ve been part of this village area for quite some time. The work we do is pretty straightforward and we don't try to make it sound more complicated than it is. Most days are quiet, except for the local traffic going past the police station. We have a few rooms where we keep our records and a small space for people to sit. It’s a very local operation, and most of us live just a short walk away. We know the neighbors and the local shopkeepers. There isn't any corporate ladder here, just us trying to run a decent business in Jamalpur. Sometimes the internet is slow or the power cuts out for a few hours, but we just wait it out or work by the windows. We don't use big words or have long meetings. We just look at what needs to be done for the day and we do it. It’s a good place to work if you like a slower pace and knowing everyone who walks through the door. We usually close up early on the weekends to spend time with our families. It is just a plain, honest business and we like it that way. We keep a calendar on the wall to track the local festivals and holidays.
