Aradhana Boutique

We’ve been here at Aradhana Boutique for a while now, tucked away near the 2nd Bus Stand on Kabiguru Sarani. If you know the SAIL Co-operative area in City Center, then you probably know where we are located. It’s a busy little corner with people always coming and going from the buses. My day usually starts early, opening up the shutters and dusting off the shelves before the first crowd arrives. The shop isn’t huge, but we make the most of the space we have. Sometimes the noise from the traffic outside gets a bit loud, but you get used to it after a few years. People often stop in just to escape the heat for a minute or while they are waiting for their ride. We keep things pretty simple here. There’s no fancy decor or anything like that, just clothes and a sewing machine that’s seen better days. Living and working in Durgapur has its own rhythm, and being part of this neighborhood feels right. We know many of the faces that pass by every morning. It’s mostly just me or one of the girls handling the customers. We don't have a big corporate team or a marketing department. It’s just a local business trying to do things honestly. If you are walking down Kabiguru Sarani near the bus stand, you will see our sign. It’s a bit faded now from the sun, but it’s still there. We’ve had some regulars for years who come in to chat as much as they do to look at fabrics.
