Acharya Study Centres

Acharya Study Centres is located at 77 Neheru Avenue, right in the Durgapur Steel Town East area. The pin code is 713205. We’ve been in this part of Durgapur for several years. It’s a solid, reliable area to work in. Our building is right on the avenue, so it’s easy to find for anyone coming from the steel plant side or the other residential parts of town. We have a few different classrooms inside. They aren't very large, but they fit about fifteen to twenty students comfortably if they don't bring too many big bags. I usually spend my afternoons checking the registers and making sure the lights are turned off in the rooms we aren't using. Electricity bills can be high, you know. Durgapur Steel Town is a place where people value education, so we stay pretty busy throughout the year. We don't have any flashy stuff here. It's just wooden desks, green boards, and a lot of books piled up in the corners. Sometimes the tea man comes by around five, and we take a short break. The staff here is small, just a few people I’ve known for a long time. We don't try to be something we're not. We just provide a place for students to sit down and focus on their work away from the distractions at home. It’s a simple operation, really. Nothing more, nothing less. Just a study center on Neheru Avenue.
