Zks Restaurant

At Zks Restaurant in Lulla Nagar 307/23, we spend most of our time making sure things are ready for the evening crowd. Lulla Nagar is a nice part of town, and we’ve been lucky to have a spot here for some time now. The restaurant isn't huge, but we have enough space for families to sit down and relax. We started this place because we wanted to work for ourselves and stay close to home. The kitchen staff is small, and we often help each other out with different tasks. If the dishes are piling up, the waiter might jump in to help wash, and if the orders are coming fast, the owner might start packing the takeaway bags. We don't have a big marketing budget or anyone telling us how to run things. We just do what feels right for the day. Sometimes the fridge acts up or we have a hard time getting a specific ingredient, but we always find a way to make it work. It’s a lot of long hours, staying open until the last customer is done eating. We sweep the floors every night and lock up when the street is finally quiet. It’s a simple business, and we are just happy to be a part of the daily life in this neighborhood. We have seen it change over the years, but our routine stays the same pretty much every week.
