Zen Batteries

The shop at Bibvewadi Avdhut Arcade is where we spend most of our time. We sell all sorts of batteries here. Car batteries, bike ones, and even the ones people use for their home inverters. It’s just a regular shop, nothing too fancy to look at. We’ve been around this neighborhood for quite a while now. People usually drop by when their vehicle won't start in the morning. It gets pretty busy early on. Sometimes the delivery truck blocks the arcade entrance for a few minutes while we unload. It’s just me and a couple of other guys working the floor. We handle all the heavy lifting ourselves. The shop isn't polished or anything. There are stacks of cardboard boxes almost everywhere you look. Sometimes it gets a bit dusty from the road outside. We just keep things moving and make sure the shelves are full. If you need a quick charge or a whole new unit, we’re right here near the corner. It’s honest work and we don't try to be something we’re not. We try to keep a good stock so nobody has to wait too long. Most days are exactly the same. We open the shutters, check the list, and talk to the regulars who stop by. Sometimes the summer heat makes batteries fail more often, so we stay extra busy during those months. It’s a lot of manual labor, shifting those heavy lead-acid packs. We don’t have a website or anything like that. Just the shop. It's a decent spot in Bibvewadi.
