Y.S. Sane Associate, Pune

We operate out of a space in Duttawadi, Pune, care of Mr. Surve. It’s a local setup, nothing too grand. Being in Pune means things are always moving fast, but in our corner of Duttawadi, it’s a bit more settled. We’ve worked alongside Mr. Surve for quite a while now. The office is really just where we coordinate our daily tasks. We don't have a lot of bells and whistles here. Most of our work involves being out in the city, meeting people and looking at sites. When we are in the office, it’s usually to catch up on the paperwork that piles up. We keep things pretty informal. If someone needs to talk to us, they usually just drop in or give us a ring. We don't use a lot of technical jargon or try to impress people with big presentations. We just explain things as they are. Pune has its own way of doing things, and we’ve adapted to that over the years. Our group is small, which makes it easier to keep track of what everyone is doing. We don’t have a big corporate structure or anything like that. It’s just a group of associates working together to handle the jobs we take on. It’s been this way for a long time and we don't see any reason to change it. We just focus on the task at hand and move on to the next.
