Yestro Promotive

Yestro Promotive is located inside Shaniwar Peth, which means you have to deal with those narrow lanes and all the two-wheelers parked everywhere. It’s an old part of the city, and our building reflects that. The stairs are narrow and a bit steep, so you have to watch your step. We don’t have a big sign out front, just a small board that’s easy to miss if you aren’t looking for it. Inside, the space is pretty tight. We’ve had to organize the desks in a way that everyone can still move around without bumping into each other. It gets a bit noisy during the day because the neighbors are close by and you can hear everything happening on the street. We usually have the radio playing softly in the background to cover the sound of the horns. The walls have a few cracks here and there, but the building is sturdy. We’ve tried to make it comfortable with a few fans, but Shaniwar Peth gets really warm in April. Most of us have been working here for a long time, so we know all the local tea sellers and where to get the best snacks nearby. It’s a bit of a squeeze, but it’s a good spot to be in the middle of everything. We just show up, do our tasks, and try to avoid the peak hour traffic when we leave. There is a small temple at the corner where the bells ring every evening.
