Yash Plastrotech

Our business, Yash Plastrotech, is found at Plot No. 21, Gat No. 87 on Talawade Road. This whole area is full of industrial units, so there’s always the sound of trucks and machinery in the background. We work with plastic molding and processing. We have several machines that run pretty much all day. It gets quite warm inside the shed because of the heaters on the injection machines. We aren't doing anything revolutionary here; we just take the molds and produce the plastic parts according to what the customer needs. Some days we are making thousands of small components, and other days we are trying to fix a machine that’s decided to stop working. It’s a lot of manual labor, loading the raw plastic granules and checking the finished parts for any defects or extra bits of plastic that need trimming. The floor is usually covered in those little plastic pellets, no matter how much we sweep. We have a small crew of guys who live nearby and know the machines inside out. We don’t have a fancy website or a marketing department. We just rely on the work we do for the companies in the surrounding industrial belt. It’s repetitive and loud, but it’s what we’ve been doing for years now. We just focus on meeting the daily production numbers and making sure the molds are cleaned properly so the parts come out right.
