Yamunai Hospital & Maternity Home

Our place, Yamunai Hospital & Maternity Home, is located in the Kadam vak vasti area, specifically around khole vasti. If you are coming from the Kalbhor station, it is not a very long walk at all. We are right there near the MIT corner in Haveli. It’s a busy intersection with a lot of people moving around. You can hear the trains every now and then when the wind blows the right way toward the building. The hospital has been part of this corner for a good while. The mornings are usually the busiest time when the shops around the station start opening up and people are rushing for their trains. We don't have any big corporate offices or fancy slogans on the walls. It is just a plain building where we do our work. Inside, the rooms are simple and kept as clean as possible. We have the maternity ward and the general hospital areas. The staff stays busy with cleaning and checking on the rooms throughout the shift. We use plain white sheets and the lights are those long fluorescent tubes that hum a little. It’s a very practical environment for everyone. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded in the waiting area, especially on market days when more people are in town. People from the surrounding vastis come here because it is convenient to the station and the main road. We don’t have a marketing team or anything like that. Just the people who work here and do the daily chores.
