If you head down to 115, Pune Nagar Road in Sanaswadi, you will find our place, Yamazaki Mazak India Pvt.Ltd. The road outside is always packed with trucks and people commuting to work, so getting here in the morning can be a bit of a challenge sometimes. Once you step inside the gates, it’s a different world. We have these large machines everywhere. It’s a lot of technology, but at the end of the day, it’s still people running them. We spend a lot of time looking at screens and adjusting settings to make sure the metal parts come out exactly right. Sanaswadi has grown a lot since we first set up here. There used to be more open space, but now it’s all industry. We have a good group of people who really understand how these CNC machines behave. It’s not all smooth sailing; things break down and parts get delayed, but we just deal with it as it comes. We aren't trying to be something we're not. We are a factory on a busy road doing technical work. There’s a canteen where we grab tea, and that’s usually where the best conversations happen about how to fix a stubborn machine or what’s going on in the neighborhood. It’s a practical environment. We focus on the tasks at hand and try to make sure everything leaving the building is solid and correct. It's just about getting the job done.
