Our office is tucked away in Chembur, specifically at 45/1542 Subhash Nagar. It is listed as being c/o Om Prakash Gupta, so that’s the name you’ll see on the mail. Chembur is a busy part of Mumbai, as anyone who lives here knows. It’s always got that specific smell and sound of the city. We aren’t in some big corporate park with security guards and badges. It is more of a local setup. YAARAA VENTURES PRIVATE LIMITED is the name on our registration, but we just feel like a small part of the neighborhood. The space isn’t huge, but it fits what we need. We spend a lot of time just managing the day-to-day operations from here. Sometimes the internet acts up when it rains hard, which happens a lot in Mumbai, but we manage. There is a lot of noise from the street outside, honking and people shouting, but you get used to it after a week or two. We have some desks and a small corner for making coffee. It’s a practical place. Most of our work is behind the scenes, so we don’t get many visitors. We just show up, do the work that needs doing, and head home like everyone else in Subhash Nagar. It’s not flashy, but it works for us and we’ve been here for a bit now. We usually share some snacks in the afternoon and talk about the commute home.
