If you drive behind the Katraj Milk Dairy in Pune, you’ll find us at Worldwide Oilfield Machine P Ltd. We are located at B-16 in the Shalini Residency, which is actually Survey No 73/6 (4+5). It’s a bit of an unusual spot for a machine company, tucked away like this, but it works for us. The air usually smells a bit like the dairy next door, which isn't a bad thing. We spend our days dealing with parts and equipment that most people wouldn't even recognize. The office is functional, with metal shelves and a few sturdy tables for inspecting things. Pune can get really dusty, so we are always cleaning the equipment. We don’t have a receptionist or a big lobby; usually, if you walk in, you’ll just see one of us working on a laptop or checking a blueprint. It’s a small group of us here, and we mostly just talk shop. Sometimes we grab lunch at the local places nearby, talking about the traffic on the way to 411046. The building itself is pretty standard, nothing that stands out from the street. We just focus on the technical side of things and try to keep everything running smooth. It’s quiet work for the most part, unless we are moving something heavy. We like the location because it’s a bit out of the main city rush.
