Wani Social Foundation

You can find the Wani Social Foundation at Shop Number 302 in the Sanas Memories building on FC Road. This is one of the busiest streets in Shivaji Nagar, so there is always something going on outside our window. Being on the third floor gives us a little bit of height, but you can still hear the students and the shops down below all day long. We’ve been in this space for a while now. It’s a small office, nothing too impressive to look at, just some desks and a lot of chairs for when people come by. We spend most of our time dealing with social issues that come up in the city. It’s a lot of talking to people, making phone calls, and trying to connect folks who need help with the right resources. We don’t have any fancy marketing materials or a big mission statement on the wall. We just show up every day and do the work that needs doing. Sometimes the office is a mess with newspapers and half-drunk cups of chai, but that’s just how it is when you’re busy. We like being on FC Road because it feels like we’re in the heart of the city. There’s a lot of energy here, and it keeps us moving. It’s a simple, straightforward operation run by people who just care about what happens in Pune. We don't pretend to be anything more than that.
