Walia Tyres

Walia Tyres is down at 54/17 Kasarwadi. If you know the area you know it can get pretty dusty with all the vehicles coming through. We have been here at this spot for quite some time now. It’s a basic shop where we handle tires all day long. There is always a stack of rubber somewhere and the floor is usually a bit dirty but that’s just how a tire shop is. We don’t have a waiting room with a TV or anything like that. People usually just stand around and talk while we work. Kasarwadi is a good spot for us because there is always traffic and someone always needs something fixed or changed. We see all kinds of cars and trucks coming by the 54/17 address. The sun hits the front of the shop pretty hard in the afternoon so we try to stay in the shade when we can. It’s just me and a couple of other guys mostly. We don’t do a lot of talking unless it’s about the work at hand. We like the local vibe of the neighborhood and most of our customers are people who live or work nearby. It isn't a glamorous job but it is what we know how to do. You can find us right there on the main stretch. Just look for the tires piled up and you will know you’re at the right place. We stay open until the work is done. It’s just how we have always operated here since we first opened up.
