Walchand Nagar Industries Ltd.

We are based in Walchand House on Karve Road, right in the Kothrud area of Pune. It's a well-known spot, and we occupy a few sections like 167A and the 2/8 2/9 blocks. Being on such a busy road means there is always noise from the street, but you get used to it after a while. Walchand Nagar Industries Ltd. has been around for quite a long time. The office has that older feel to it, with heavy wooden desks and lots of files stacked everywhere. We aren't really into the modern open-office stuff you see on TV these days. Our team is a mix of people who have been here for decades and some newer faces trying to learn the ropes. We mostly spend our time looking over technical drawings and managing our project schedules. It gets pretty hectic when a big deadline is coming up and everyone is rushing around. Sometimes the lift in the building acts up, so we end up taking the stairs. It’s good exercise, I guess, even if it’s tiring on hot days. We handle a lot of heavy engineering stuff, which isn't always easy work, but we've got the hang of it by now. The canteen downstairs is where most of us end up for a quick lunch. We talk about the work, the weather, and whatever else is going on. It’s not a flashy place, just a solid building where people come to do their jobs.
