Sripad Gaushaala

Sripad Gaushaala is located right near the Wakad Bridge. If you know the area around Bhujbal Wasti, you’ve probably passed by us. We are at Survey No. 15/S. This place is all about the cows. We spend our mornings cleaning the sheds and making sure there’s enough fodder for everyone. It’s a lot of physical work and your clothes will definitely get dirty. There’s no way around that when you’re running a gaushaala. We don't have a fancy office; it’s mostly just the pens and the storage for feed. The noise from the bridge is always there in the background, but the cows don't seem to mind it much. We have a small group of workers who stay on-site to help with the milking and the feeding. It’s a daily routine that doesn't change much, even on holidays. People from Wakad sometimes stop by to get fresh milk or just to see the animals. It’s a bit dusty, especially in the summer months when the ground dries out. We keep things simple here. We aren't trying to be a big corporation. We just care for the cattle and manage the daily chores that come with it. It’s honest work that keeps us on our feet from sunrise until well after dark.
