Waisons

Waisons is up on the 1st floor of the Ravi Building at 112 Sadashiv Peth. It’s a busy area, especially since we are so near the Alka Theater. You can usually hear the sounds of the movies or the crowds when a big show is letting out. Getting up to the first floor involves a bit of a climb up some narrow stairs that have seen better days. Once you’re inside, the office feels a bit quieter than the street below, but not by much. We’ve got desks pushed up against the walls and a lot of old wooden cupboards filled with folders. The Ravi Building is one of those places where everyone knows everyone else’s business. We spend a lot of time at our desks, often working late into the evening when the street lights come on outside. Sadashiv Peth has a specific kind of feel to it, very traditional and always cramped with scooters. We like being centrally located because it’s easy for people to find us, even if parking is a nightmare. There’s no fancy air conditioning here, just a couple of ceiling fans that click as they spin. It’s a simple workspace for a small team. We don’t have much in the way of decoration, just some old photos and the usual calendars you see in every office. The wooden floors creak when you walk, and the smell of old paper is something you just get used to after a few days of working here.
